Terekeme life in Keshikchidagh
On March 18, 2024, a district-wide event was organized in the Heydar Aliyev Park of Aghstafa district in connection with the Novruz holiday, where the ancient traditions of our people are kept alive.
According to the implementation of the work plan for the first half of 2024 approved by the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan of the "Keshikchidagh" State historical-cultural reserve, the event called "Novruz traditions in Keshikchidagh" was held.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated December 25, 2023, 2024 was declared the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World".
The Azerbaijani people, who were subjected to genocide by Armenians in different periods of history, faced the next such tragedy in Khojaly at the end of the 20th century.This was one of the terrible crimes rarely seen in human history and was the culmination of Armenia's military aggression against our country.
The information board installed around "The peak named after Ilham Aliyev" erected in honor of the presence of the President of the country, Mr. Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, has been updated by the employees of "Keshikchidagh" State historical-cultural reserve.
Within the framework of the project called "Young promoters of Heydar Aliyev's heritage" and in connection with "February 2 Youth Day", young volunteers of "Aghstafa Youth House" Social Service Institution visited the administrative building of "Keshikchidagh" State Historical-Cultural Reserve.
Today, 34 years have passed since the tragedy of January 20. Thus, the management and collective of "Keshikchidagh" State Historical-Cultural reserve visited Aghstafa district Martyrs' Alley within the framework of district-wide events organized in connection with the January 20 tragedy, and placed carnations in front of the graves.
The night of January 19-20, 1990 is a glorious history when the people who lived under the Soviet empire for many years raised the voice of freedom and showed courage for their sovereignty. In connection with the January 20 tragedy, a series of measures were implemented by the "Keshikchidagh" State Historical-Cultural Reserve.
