Jointly organized by the State Service for the Protection, Development, and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture and the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, the project “Scientific-Archaeological Excavations and Summer School in Keshikchidagh – 5” is successfully ongoing. As part of the project, students from the Aghstafa Karate Club participated in an educational excursion to the “Yovşanli dere” kurgans, where archaeological excavations are currently being carried out. During the excursion, the students became closely acquainted with the archaeological artifacts uncovered during the excavations and received detailed information about their historical significance from the scholars working at the site. Such excursions serve to foster interest in national heritage among children and adolescents.
