On June 19, 2025, students of the History Faculty of the Gazakh branch of Baku State University visited the “Keşikçidağ” State Historical and Cultural Reserve as part of the project “Scientific-Archaeological Excavations and Summer School – 5.”
As future historians and archaeologists, the students participated in the scientific research process at the excavation site and had the opportunity to directly observe the discovered material cultural samples—artifacts—on-site. Within the framework of the event, a master class was presented to the participants, covering the ancient history, cultural heritage, and archaeological monuments of the region. During the master class, held with the participation of scholars, the youth were provided with detailed information on the fundamentals of scientific research activities, archaeological methodologies, and future career prospects. Such initiatives are of particular importance in terms of enhancing the scientific knowledge of the region’s youth, expanding their higher education opportunities, and studying and transmitting the national-cultural heritage to future generations.
