Within the framework of the project “As Keshikchidagh, we are with those who wrote glorious history in Karabakh”, the employees of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve visited the graves of Abdullayev Nihad Adil oghlu and Alizade Khayal Nasreddin oghlu, who were heroically martyred in the 44-days Patriotic War, and laid fresh carnations. It should be noted that Abdullayev Nihad Adil oghlu was born in Aghstafa district, Alizade Khayal Nasreddin oghlu was born in Vurghun settlement of Aghstafa district. Abdullayev, a soldier of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces, was martyred during the Khojavend battles, and Alizade Khayal was martyred in the direction of Shusha city. According to the relevant decrees of the President of the country, Abdullayev Nihad was posthumously awarded the medals “For the Motherland”, “For the liberation of Khojavend”, Alizade Khayal “For the Motherland”, “For the liberation of Sugovushan”, “Brave warrior”, “For the liberation of Shusha”.
