The next stage of excavations carried out for 3 years under the leadership of Najaf Museyibli, head of the department of the Institute of Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of ANAS, has started in the “Chagritapa” settlement of the Neolithic period located in Khatai village of Aghstafa district. The staff of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve also visited the Chagritapa camp to get acquainted with the excavations in the area. It should be noted that the excavations in the area are very important for the study of the Neolithic period in the region.
