The next meeting of the scientific council on the results of the first half of 2024 was held in the administrative building of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical-Cultural Reserve.
In the meeting held with the participation of Valeh Nasibov, doctor of philology, employee of the Gazakh branch of BSU, and Ismayil Umudlu, doctor of philosophy in history, senior researcher of the department of historical ethnology of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after A.A.Bakikhanov of ANAS, the works and events carried out during the six months were discussed. A wide discussion was held about the project called “Scientific-archaeological excavations and summer school 4 in Keshikchidagh”, which is planned to be implemented, and the importance of preparing printed products in the new design of the reserve in the promotion of the reserve was noted. At the same time, in the current year, the progress of studies related to the investigation of the toponyms and etymology of the monuments located in the territory of the reserve was widely discussed. The main purpose of the research was to explore the existing toponyms by walking around the reserve area, to study the mutual influence of the ethnic cultures of the area, the customs of the ethnic groups that lived in the area, and the study of inter-ethnic relations.
