The Azerbaijani people, who were subjected to genocide by Armenians in different periods of history, faced the next such tragedy in Khojaly at the end of the 20th century. This was one of the terrible crimes rarely seen in human history and was the culmination of Armenia’s military aggression against our country.
Today marks 32 years since the Khojaly tragedy. Regarding this tragedy, the administration of “Keshikchidagh” State historical-cultural reserve visited Aghstafa district Martyrs’ Alley and Aghstafa city Martyrs’ Memorial complex as part of Aghstafa district-wide event. Later, a round table entitled “Khojali tragedy is the blood memory of our people” was organized in the administrative building of the reserve. At the round table, first of all, the souls of the victims of Khojaly, including all our martyrs who died for the freedom of our homeland, were remembered with a minute of silence. The director of the reserve Musa Mursaguliyev said that Khojaly’s revenge was taken on the battlefield. The victorious Commander-in-Chief, the brave army and the determined people did it with dignity.
