ANNOUNCEMENT Border Access & Tickets Since the reserve is located on the border with the Republic of Georgia, official permission must be obtained from the State Border Service for entry. Only after obtaining this permission is it recommended to purchase tickets via iticket.az for visiting specific areas, including the Keshikchidagh barrow plains and the caves located towards the "Peak named after Ilham Aliyev."
Employees of the reserves managed by the State Service of Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development and Restoration under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, including staff from the "Keshikchidagh" State Historical and Cultural Reserve, participated in an international training session titled "Modern Approaches and Practical Applications in Archaeological Research." Held in Baku from April 29 to May 1, 2026, the event was jointly organized by the ANAS Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology, Baku State University, and Ege University of Turkey.

Held in Aghstafa In accordance with the Action Plan of the Aghstafa District Executive Power regarding the "Year of Urban Planning and Architecture" (2026), an intellectual knowledge competition was held among teacher teams from 34 general education institutions in the Aghstafa district.

As part of the Open Day organized at the "Keshikchidagh" State Historical and Cultural Reserve, operating under the State Service of Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development and Restoration under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, young volunteers from the Aghstafa Youth House Social Service Institution visited the reserve's administrative building.

On the occasion of April 18 – International Day for Monuments and Sites, the management and staff of the "Keshikchidagh" State Historical and Cultural Reserve conducted a scientific excursion to the area of the Agaligtapa settlement located in the Aghstafa region.
The participants first familiarized themselves with the archaeological monuments located in the Keshikchidagh Kurgan Valley.
