Within the framework of the project “As Keshikchidagh, we are with those who wrote glorious history in Karabakh”, the employees of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve visited the grave of Piriyev Elshan Shafalat oghlu, who was heroically martyred in the 44-days Patriotic War, and laid fresh carnations. Later, they visited the martyr’s house and offered condolences to his parents. It should be noted that Piriyev Elshan was born in Kolkhalfali village of Aghstafa district. Piriyev, a junior sergeant of the Azerbaijan Army, rose to the height of martyrdom during the battles of Fuzuli. According to the relevant Decrees of the President of the country, he was posthumously awarded the “For the Motherland”, “Brave Warrior”, “For the Liberation of Gubadli” and “For the Liberation of Kalbajar” medals. May God have mercy on our martyrs!
