General Director of the Institute of Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of ANAS Professor Abbas Seyidov, Professor Hidayat Jafarov and Doctor of Philosophy in History Yagub Mammadov visited the reserve area to get to know with the archaeological excavations carried out within the framework of the project “Archaeological Excavations and Summer School in Keshikchidagh-2” in the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve.
Safar Ashurov, doctor of philosophy in history, assistant professor, who led the excavation work in Jeyranchukhur barrow, gave detailed information to the guests about the grave monument with a diameter of 21 meters, surrounded by a cromlech and belonging to the late bronze-early iron age.
