Safar Ashurov, an archaeologist of the Institute of Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of ANAS, doctor of philosophy in history, associate professor, got acquainted with the small museum exhibited in the administrative building of the reserve, and a round table was organized with the reserve staff.

With the support of the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the project “Scientific-archaeological excavations and summer school 2 in Keshikchidagh” was launched in the “Keshikchidagh” State historical and cultural reserve. First of all, Safar Ashurov, an archaeologist of the Institute of Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of ANAS, doctor of philosophy in history, associate professor, got acquainted with the small museum exhibited in the administrative building of the reserve, and a round table was organized with the reserve staff. Later, the archaeologist in the territory of the reserve, together with the reserve staff, carried out geodetic measurements in the Jeyranchukhur valley, where the archaeological excavations will take place.  In order to relax the participants of the project, awning was built by the reserve staff in the area. The main goal of the project is to introduce the Keshikchidagh caves complex, which is our cultural heritage, to the local and world community, and to introduce the name of Keshikchidagh into scientific circulation.
