International Museum Day is widely celebrated on May 18 each year in countries around the world. It was established in 1977 at the initiative of ICOM. The purpose of this day is to highlight the important role museums play in the life of society.
On the occasion of this significant day, “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve participated with its own pavilion at the Gazakh State Socio-Economic College. The exhibition, which featured artifacts and printed materials discovered during archaeological excavations carried out in the territory of the reserve, was met with particular interest by the students. Through this exhibition, students obtained information about the history, nature, cultural and archaeological significance of the reserve. Moreover, they expressed their willingness to volunteer in future archaeological excavations within the reserve and to enhance their practical experience.
