The Japanese red pine planted in the green park built by the reserve staff around “The peak named after Ilham Aliyev” erected in honor of the President of the country, located in the territory of the “Keshikchidagh” State historical and cultural reserve, adds special beauty to the flora of the reserve. From time to time, this pine has become a popular ornamental species and has several varieties, but it turns yellowish in winter. The leaves are needle-like, 8-12 centimeters long. The length of the cones is 4-7 cm.
