One of the rare plants in Keshikchidagh is the Gum Tree, and even one of the settlements here is called the “Saggizli” (Gum) living camp because of the predominance of Gum trees in the area. Gum tree has extremely valuable wood, textures and aesthetic beauty, as well as the ability to form a forest in long-term and difficult conditions. This endangered tree in the world was included in the Red Book in 1982 in order to ensure serious protection in Azerbaijan.
