During the visit, the staff of the center provided detailed information about the center’s activities, teaching and research directions, as well as the historical and cultural objects located in the area. The participants were given extensive information about the structure of the center, its modern educational and presentation methods, and the ongoing projects in the Qazakh region. One of the main highlights of the excursion was the newly restored Israfil Agha bathhouse, dating back to the 19th century. The center’s staff explained the architectural features of the bathhouse, the stages of the restoration process, and its historical significance. It was noted that the interior of the monument was restored in accordance with the ancient bath style, with the arch system, stone structures, dome lines, and heating system elements preserved in a manner as close as possible to the original. The interior was designed to attract the interest of visitors: portraits of Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Muslim Magomayev, and other prominent representatives of Azerbaijani musical culture were placed on the walls. This exhibition, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Uzeyir Hajibeyov, is now openly displayed at the center, and visitors can view the exhibition and materials at any time. In addition to the portraits, explanatory texts about the activities and contributions of these great artists to national music heritage are also presented. The center’s staff emphasized that the purpose of this exhibition is to integrate national culture more effectively into the regional awareness process.
The visitors were also given comprehensive information about the overall infrastructure of ADA University’s Qazakh Center. The modern teaching classrooms, research rooms, exhibition areas, interactive presentation technologies, and cultural corners created in the open space were showcased. The center’s staff mentioned that various training sessions, seminars, and scientific events are held here for both students and the general public. During the visit, the leadership of Keşikçidağ State Historical and Cultural Reserve and an authorized employee of the Qazakh Center discussed future cooperation prospects. The parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation in organizing joint scientific and educational events, implementing cultural projects, organizing student expeditions, and promoting the region’s historical and cultural heritage.
