In recent times, scientific research and archaeological excavations carried out in the “Keşikçidağ” State Historical and Cultural Reserve have sparked public interest. As a continuation of this interest, a scientific tour was organized in the reserve area with the participation of prominent scholars and ethnographers from Baku. During the visit, caves, frescoes, water wells, and food storage facilities were examined on site. In addition to the origin of the monuments and their ethnographic characteristics, the terrain of the area, ancient migration routes, seasonal pasture systems (yaylaq–qishlaq), and the influence of the landscape on this way of life were thoroughly discussed. The nomadic lifestyle that developed in the Jeyranchol region was also examined. Within the framework of the tour, there was an exchange of ideas regarding future directions of scientific research.
