Archeological excavations are being continued in 2 directions in the Keshikchidagh kurgans located in the reserve area under the leadership of the department head of the ANAS Institute of Archeology and Anthropology, doctor of philosophy in history, associate professor Bakhtiyar Jalilov. The main purpose of the archaeological excavations is to expand the use of the name Keshikchidagh kurgans in the scientific circulation, to introduce the kurgans in the international arena and to determine the history of the area.
