In the “Keshikchidagh” State historical and cultural reserve, which is one of the oldest settlements, the works carried out in the direction of researching and studying the settlements that have existed since ancient times and the cultures that developed in different historical periods from various aspects have intensified in recent years, archaeological excavations have been carried out, and a large number of material and cultural samples were discovered. As a continuation of these excavations, from 07.09.2023 to 07.10.2023, the project called “Archaeological excavations in Keshikchidagh and Summer school-3” was started. In this regard, a round table was organized in the administrative building regarding the initiation of archaeological excavations to be carried out in the Garasoy mounds located in the valley of Keshikchidagh Mounds. In the round table held with the participation of associate professor of the Institute of Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of ANAS, doctor of philosophy in history, archaeologist Shamil Najafov and associate professor of the Gazakh branch of BSU, doctor of sciences on art studies Imash Hajiyev, the involvement of the young generation in the preservation of cultural heritage, young archaeologists the development of professional skills, acquisition of skills of cultural volunteers to carry out excavation and field archaeological work were discussed and discussions were held.
