Karvan Deresi Kurgan No. 1 has a diameter of 21 meters and is surrounded by a 60 cm-wide cromlech made of medium-sized river stones. The kurgan, with a height of 2.2 meters, was covered with a mixture of gravel and soil, which was removed to reveal a central burial chamber beneath the mound. The burial chamber was oriented in a north-south direction. Large, partially hewn stone slabs were placed over the chamber, found at a depth of 1 meter beneath the kurgan’s surface.
