Within the framework of the project “As Keshikchidagh, we are with those who wrote glorious history in Karabakh”, employees of “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve visited the graves of Shikhmammadov Hikmet Azer oghlu and Valiyev Aykhan Kamil oghlu, who were heroically martyred in the 44-days Patriotic War, and laid fresh carnations.
It should be noted that Shikhmammadov Hikmet Azer oghlu and Valiyev Aykhan Kamil oghlu were born in Dagh Kasaman village of #Aghstafa district. Shikhmammadov Hikmat and Valiyev Aykhan, soldiers of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces, rose to the peak of martyrdom during the battles of Shusha. According to the relevant decrees of the President of the country, Shikhmammadov Hikmet and Valiyev Aykhan were posthumously awarded the “For the Motherland”, “Brave Warrior”, “For the Liberation of Shusha” medals.
