Within the framework of the project “As Keshikchidagh, we are with those who wrote glorious history in Karabakh”, the employees of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve visited the grave of Yusifli Azer Nazim oghlu, who was heroically martyred in the 44-days Patriotic War, and laid fresh carnations. Later, they visited the martyr’s house and offered condolences to his parents. It should be noted that Azer Yusifli was born in Boyuk Kasik village of Aghstafa district. Azer Yusifli, the chief ensign of the State Border Service, planted the Azerbaijani flag in the Zangilan city for the first time in 27 years on October 19, 2020 during the Patriotic War. Azer Yusifli rose to the peak of martyrdom in the direction of Zangilan. According to the relevant Decrees of the President of the country, he was posthumously awarded the “For the Motherland”, “For Military Services” 3rd degree medal, “For the liberation of Jabrail” and “Hero of the Patriotic War” medal.
