"Keshikchidagh" State historical and cultural reserve staff visited territory of the "Ancient Shamkir City" State historical and cultural reserve.

According to the 2022 work plan approved by the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to cooperate among the historical and cultural reserves operating in the country, “Keshikchidagh” State historical and cultural reserve staff visited territory of the “Ancient Shamkir City” State historical and cultural reserve. The reserve staff got acquainted with the scientific-archaeological excavations conducted with the participation of Tarikh Dostiyev, the doctor of historical sciences, archaeologist and Rashid Bashirov, the doctor of philosophy in history, archaeologist and also inspected the material and culture samples discovered during the archaeological excavations.
“Ancient Shamkir City” State historical and cultural reserve provided extensive information about the reserve and stated that research works were carried out in 7 excavation areas in the direction of Naringala – on an area of ​​one hectare. Later, an exchange of views was held at the tea table with the participation of the employees of both reserves.
