Within the framework of cooperation between the Azerbaijan Tourism Guides Association and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a masterclass titled “Tourism Guiding: Behavior, Voice, and Interactive Communication Skills” was held to enhance the skills of guides working in museums under the Ministry’s jurisdiction.
During the masterclass, Tural Musayev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Tourism Guides Association, provided extensive information on topics such as voice and anxiety management, effective guiding methods, professional ethics, proper audience communication, interactive presentation skills, group management, effective use of body language and tone of voice, as well as establishing professional relationships with visitors. An interactive exchange of ideas took place with the museum guides, practical issues encountered during their work were discussed, and experiences regarding various scenarios were shared. The main purpose of the event was to support the development of professional knowledge and skills of guides working in museums under the Ministry of Culture, improve the quality of guiding services provided to visitors, and foster a service culture aligned with international standards.
