The event was jointly organized by the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve (under the management of the State Service of Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development and Restoration under the Ministry of Culture), the Aghstafa District Youth and Sports Sector of the Gazakh-Tovuz Regional Youth and Sports Department, and the Aghstafa Youth House Social Service Institution, with the active participation of young volunteers.
The primary objective of the event was to convey the essence and crucial historical-political significance of National Salvation Day in the destiny of the Azerbaijani people to the younger generation, to promote the statehood ideas of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, to study the history of our independence, and to further strengthen the spirit of patriotism among youth. At the beginning of the event, participants observed a minute of silence to honor the cherished memory of the architect and founder of independent Azerbaijan, National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as all martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and freedom of Azerbaijan. Later, the speakers highlighted the exceptional significance of June 15 – National Salvation Day in terms of preserving and strengthening Azerbaijani statehood. They emphasized that in 1993, when the country faced a complex socio-political situation, National Leader Heydar Aliyev returned to power at the persistent demand of the people. As a result of his salvation mission, stability was restored in Azerbaijan, state independence was saved from danger, and a solid foundation was laid for future development.
