ANNOUNCEMENT

On April 13–14, 2026, an international scientific conference titled “Current Issues in the Archaeological and Ethnographic Study of the Ganja–Gazakh Region” will be held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Aghstafa. The conference is jointly organized by the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the Aghstafa District Executive Authority, and the “Keshikchidagh” and “Avey” State Historical and Cultural Reserves, which operate under the Administration of the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture. The event is dedicated to April 18 – the International Day for Monuments and Sites, as well as to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the prominent scientist, Paleolithic researcher, PhD in History, Associate Professor Mansur Mansurov.
