Title: Yovshanlidere Kurgan No. 4
Location: jeyranchol, Keshikchidagh Valley of Kurgans
Date of Discovery: 5–30 June 2025
Period: Middle Bronze Age
Located 8 meters north of Kurgan No. 3, Kurgan No. 4 measures 18 meters in diameter and 1 meter in height above the modern ground surface. Its upper covering consisted entirely of medium-sized river stones, which extended from the periphery toward the center of the mound. Approaching the center, this stone covering was interrupted along the circumference, giving way to an earthen section with a diameter of 6 meters. The soil in this area was compact, clayey, and difficult to excavate. At the very center of the mound, within the earthen section, a tightly arranged stone structure measuring 3 × 2 meters was revealed. It is presumed that this stone accumulation had been constructed directly above the burial chamber located beneath the mound, indicating that the central grave chamber lay at this point. Partial removal of the stone covering at the periphery was carried out, and in the northeastern and southeastern sectors, the overlying soil layer above the stone cover was also removed. From among the stones covering the central burial chamber, five arrowheads placed side by side, along with ceramic fragments, were discovered.
