Representatives of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical-Cultural Reserve also participated in the exhibition held in Tokyo, Japan, on February 8-11, 2025. The exhibition displayed exhibits from historical monuments such as the Goytepe, Damjili and Dash Salahli living camps in the western region of Azerbaijan, and the Keshikchidagh caves complex, which were similar to those of the same period. The event widely informed the public about the importance of archaeological excavations carried out in the Western region of Azerbaijan, including the Stone Age monuments located in the territory of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical-Cultural Reserve. Musa Mursaguliyev, director of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical-Cultural Reserve, also spoke at the event and spoke about the importance of conducting radiocarbon analyses of artifacts obtained as a result of scientific research and archaeological excavations conducted in the reserve in laboratories located in Japan in the future, and the importance of studying historical monuments located in the Western region of Azerbaijan on the basis of international cooperation.
