35 years have passed since the tragedy of January 20, a page of sadness and honor in the history of Azerbaijan’s independence. Today, the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty and freedom of Azerbaijan is commemorated with great respect. The head and staff of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical-Cultural Reserve visited the Alley of Martyrs in Aghstafa district and laid carnations as a sign of respect for the souls of those who sacrificed their lives for the independence of our country. Also, 147 almond seedlings were planted in the “Almond Garden” located on the territory of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical-Cultural Reserve, corresponding to the number of 147 martyrs who died in the January 20 tragedy.
