The project called “Scientific-archaeological excavations and summer school in Keshikchidagh-4” which is jointly organized by the State Service of Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Culture and the Institute of Archeology and Anthropology of ANAS continues.
On 16.09.2024, the staff of the “Avey” State Historical-Cultural Reserve visited the territory of the reserve in order to become more familiar with the excavations conducted under the leadership of Shamil Najafov, PhD in history, docent, a leading researcher of the Institute of Archeology and Anthropology of ANAS. The guests were familiarized with the archaeological excavations carried out in the mounds of the Karvan valley and the obtained material and culture samples, and were informed in detail by scientists conducting research in the area.
