Every year, May 18 is widely celebrated as International MuseumsDay in countries around the world.
On the occasion of this significant day, an event was organized at the Aghstafa district Heydar Aliyev Center with the joint organization of the Huseyn Arif house museum of the Aghstafa district, the Aghstafa History and Ethnography Museum, the Aghstafa State Painting Gallery and the Keshikchidagh State Historical-Cultural Reserve. The director of the reserve, Musa Mursaguliyev, spoke at the event and spoke about the importance of this day, emphasized the importance of preserving historical monuments, museums, exhibits and passing them on to future generations, while other heads of departments shared their information about this day. The exhibition of artefacts and printed products in the pavilion obtained as a result of archaeological excavations of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical-Cultural Reserve was met with special interest by the event participants, and the guests were given extensive information by the employees.
