The Genocide of March 31, 1918 was forever engraved in the memory of the Azerbaijani people.
The management and staff of “Keshikchidagh” State Historical-Cultural Reserve also participated in the event organized in the Aghstafa District Executive Power on March 31 Genocide Day. Lala Yusifzadeh, deputy director of the reserve, gave a speech entitled “Our monuments that were subjected to genocide” at the event, and gave detailed information to the event participants about the joint cooperation of the reserve with the “Genocide Memorial Complex” in Guba city. In addition, a round table called “March 31 Genocide Day of Azerbaijanis” was organized in the administrative building of “Keshikchidagh” State Historical-Cultural Reserve. At the round table, first of all, the dear memory of the victims of the genocide and all the martyrs who died for the freedom of our land was commemorated with a minute of silence. Later, Musa Mursaguliyev, the director of the reserve, made a speech and stated that on March 31, thousands of peaceful Azerbaijanis were destroyed only because of their nationality, and public facilities, including historical monuments, were destroyed.
We honor the memory of the victims of the genocide and ask for God’s mercy.
