In accordance with the 2023 work plan approved by the State Service of Conservation, Development and Rehabilitation of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Keshikchidagh" State Historical and Cultural Reserve, scientific research works are regularly conducted in the territory of the reserve with the participation of local and foreign experts.

In accordance with the 2023 work plan approved by the State Service of Conservation, Development and Rehabilitation of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve, scientific research works are regularly conducted in the territory of the reserve with the participation of local and foreign experts. Based on these scientific studies, a round table was organized in the administrative building of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve with the participation of Mansur Mansurov, a specialist in the Stone Age of the Institute of Archaeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of ANAS, associate professor, doctor of philosophy in history. At the round table, mutual opinions were exchanged with the employees of the reserve. During the discussion, scientific research to be conducted in the territory of the reserve in 2024, its prospects, in which areas to conduct archaeological excavations together with Russian scientists on the stone age, location selection, future goals and in which direction to intensify the activity were discussed.
