A group of scholars of the Institute of History named after Abbasgulu Aga Bakikhanov of ANAS visited the administrative building and the territory of the reserve of “Keshikchidagh” State historical and cultural reserve as part of their visit to the western region. The guests first exhibited in a small museum-type stand created in the administrative building of the reserve, got acquainted with the rich artifacts obtained as a result of archaeological excavations, and exchanged mutual opinions on “Albanian studies and Albanian monuments” around the round table. Later, colleagues got acquainted with the caves located in the territory of the Keshikchidagh caves complex are reflected in their walls and ceilings with frescoes, reserve food storages, water wells, and finally, during the project called “Scientific-archaeological excavations in Keshikchidagh and Summer school-3”, archaeological excavations carried out in Garasoy mounds No.1 and No.2.
