As part of the ongoing project “Scientific-Archaeological Excavations and Summer School 6” conducted in the territory of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve, which operates under the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture, an excursion was organized for a group of tourists from Baku.
During the excursion, the guests explored the caves located around the “Ilham Aliyev Peak” in the reserve’s territory. Participants were provided with detailed information regarding the historical and archaeological significance of the caves, their role in the reserve’s cultural heritage, as well as the frescoes preserved on their walls and ceilings.
Throughout the visit, the guests became closely acquainted with the rich historical and cultural heritage of Keshikchidagh and gained insights into the research and educational initiatives being carried out in the area.
