A scientifically and socially significant roundtable titled “Migration Routes of Western Azerbaijan: Traces Preserved in Historical Memory” was organized in the Aghstafa district. The event, held at the Aghstafa District Executive Authority, focused on the formation of historical migration routes passing through the territory of Western Azerbaijan and discussed their role in socio-cultural and historical memory. Within the framework of the roundtable, Ismayil Omarli, Chief Custodian of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Keshikchidagh,” delivered a report highlighting the interaction between migration routes and tangible cultural heritage sites, as well as the scientific importance of studying these routes from archaeological and ethnographic perspectives. The event was regarded as an important platform for the preservation of historical heritage, the deepening of scientific research, and the strengthening of public memory.
