On July 16, 2026, an online scientific seminar on the theme "Keşikçidağ Monuments: Archaeological Research and Cultural Heritage Preservation" was held. The event was organized by the "Keşikçidağ" State Historical and Cultural Reserve, which operates under the State Service of Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development and Restoration under the Ministry of Culture, with the participation of Shamil Najafov, PhD in History and Leading Researcher at the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

On July 16, 2026, an online scientific seminar on the theme “Keşikçidağ Monuments: Archaeological Research and Cultural Heritage Preservation” was held. The event was organized by the “Keşikçidağ” State Historical and Cultural Reserve, which operates under the State Service of Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development and Restoration under the Ministry of Culture, with the participation of Shamil Najafov, PhD in History and Leading Researcher at the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

The main purpose of the seminar was to promote the rich historical and cultural heritage of Keşikçidağ on a scientific basis, present the results of recent archaeological excavations conducted in the reserve’s territory to the scientific community, and discuss topical issues regarding the protection and transmission of cultural heritage to future generations. The event provided detailed information on the history, archaeological potential, and scientific significance of the Keşikçidağ monuments, along with the newly obtained research findings. Furthermore, measures taken to protect cultural heritage and future tasks were analyzed from a scientific perspective. Staff members from other historical and cultural reserves operating under the State Service of Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development and Restoration under the Ministry of Culture also attended the online seminar, engaging in an exchange of views and sharing mutual scientific experiences.
