From 9 to 10 June 2016, UNESCO holds many world-famous conferences dedicated to the preservation of historical monuments. One of them was an international scientific and practical conference “Restoration of museums in the context of preserving cultural heritage, actual challenges of the modern era”, held in Kiev, Ukraine.
With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the director of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Keshikchidag” Musa Mursakuliyev and the senior scientific employee of the reserve Yunis Nasibov took part in the conference with the article “The main directions of state policy in the field of cultural heritage protection” (on the example of the State Historical and Cultural reserve “Keshikchidag”)
One of the main subjects discussed was the introduction of historical monuments located on the territory of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Keshikchidag”, belonging to the Caucasian Albania, included in the list of uncivilized heritage of UNESCO. The fact that the monuments on the territory of the reserve are associated with the Christian, Fire-worshiping, or Islamic religion and reflect tolerance, caused great interest in our country and our historical monuments.
