20 August 2018 Scientific expedition led by scientific worker of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, historian-ethnographer Ismayil Umudlu has been sent to Gazakh-Aghstafa region. The expedition members held meetings in the settlements of the region. The expedition members, who are in the territory of the Keshikchidag cave complex located in Jeyranchol, had preliminary review of the reserve area and have made exchanged views about the historical volatility and development of the characteristics of the ancient people living in this area, their mutual cultural and historical relations.It is planned to continue scientific research in the near future.
