Scientific-archaeological excavations continue within the framework of the project jointly organized by the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture and the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS.

During the research conducted in the Keshikchidag territory, which preserves the ancient historical and cultural heritage of Jeyranchol, soil layers are carefully and sequentially examined, bringing to light tangible cultural artifacts preserved since ancient times. Each soil layer is studied separately during the excavations, and the spatial characteristics of the uncovered materials are meticulously recorded.

The footage captures a general view of the archaeological excavation site, the kurgan structure, and the researchers’ process. Soil layers are cleared in stages using specialized hand tools, with close monitoring of the surface structure and the position of uncovered materials. Along with unearthing various archaeological finds such as ceramic fragments, stone, and metal specimens, this process also studies their surrounding archaeological context. The goal is not merely to uncover an artifact, but to document it while preserving its exact location, depth, and archaeological context.
