On the occasion of May 15 – International Day of Families, an educational and socio-cultural event was co-organized at the “Peak named after Ilham Aliyev” located within the reserve’s territory by the Aghstafa District Executive Power, the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve managed by the State Service of Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development and Restoration under the Ministry of Culture, and the Aghstafa Youth House Social Service Institution. The main objective of the event, held with the participation of martyrs’ families, was to promote the significant role of the family institution in society, preserve national and moral values, instill a sense of patriotism in the younger generation, and provide moral support to the families of martyrs. At the beginning of the event, the participants were comprehensively informed about the rich historical and cultural heritage, ancient settlements, rock carvings, and archaeological monuments of the Keshikchidagh area, highlighting the reserve’s unique place in the national memory and cultural heritage system of the Azerbaijani people. It was emphasized that Keshikchidagh is not only important from historical and archaeological perspectives but also serves as a vital cultural space where national and moral values are sustained. Within the framework of the event, the importance of family values in the development of society was discussed, and the necessity of such initiatives towards forming a healthy family model and strengthening national unity and social solidarity was underscored. The speakers noted that martyrs’ families are consistently encompassed by the state’s care and attention, highly valuing their exemplary stance in society. Simultaneously, various entertaining and interactive programs were organized to ensure the effective use of the participants’ leisure time. The open-air event was received with great interest and satisfaction by all attendees. The event, which took place in an atmosphere of sincere and moral unity, held particular significance in terms of promoting family values, reinforcing public solidarity, and advocating historical and cultural heritage.
