ANNOUNCEMENT
On April 13–14, 2026, an academic conference titled “Current Issues in the Archaeological and Ethnographic Study of the Ganja–Gazakh Region” will be held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in the city of Aghstafa. The conference is jointly organized by the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS, the Aghstafa District Executive Authority, the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture, as well as the “Keshikchidagh” and “Avey” State Historical and Cultural Reserves. The event is dedicated to the International Day for Monuments and Sites (April 18) and the 90th anniversary of the birth of the prominent scientist, Paleolithic specialist, Doctor of Philosophy in History, Associate Professor Mansur Mansurov.
