A roundtable meeting of an educational nature dedicated to strengthening the fight against corruption was organized by the “Keşikçidağ” State Historical and Cultural Reserve.
To ensure the implementation of Article 2.2 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 4, 2022, No. 3199 “On the approval of the National Action Plan for Strengthening the Fight against Corruption for 2022–2026”, and on the basis of the Order of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 15.01.2025, No. 3-24/3-1-f-3/2025 “On the approval of the Work Plan of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025 for the implementation of the National Action Plan for Strengthening the Fight against Corruption for 2022–2026”, an educational roundtable meeting was held in the administrative building of the “Keşikçidağ” State Historical and Cultural Reserve. The main purpose of the event was to strengthen institutional measures in the field of combating corruption, to raise the legal awareness of employees, to promote the principles of transparency and accountability in public service, and to enhance public trust. Speaking at the roundtable, the director of the reserve, Musa Mursaquliyev, provided detailed information about the state policy implemented in the country in the field of combating corruption, the improvement of the normative-legal framework, the strengthening of control mechanisms, and the importance of fostering public awareness in this area. Subsequently, in the presentations delivered by the reserve’s employees, the measures taken against corruption within the “Keşikçidağ” State Historical and Cultural Reserve, the internal control mechanisms, the application of ethical conduct rules, the efforts to ensure transparent governance, as well as the action plan for the upcoming period, were brought to the attention of the participants. The event continued in a discussion format, participants’ questions were answered, practical recommendations were given, and the importance of increasing institutional responsibility in the fight against corruption was once again emphasized.
The roundtable highlighted the need for continuous awareness-raising in the field of combating corruption and demonstrated the necessity of systematically continuing measures aimed at ensuring transparency and legal accountability in state cultural institutions.
