On July 28, 2025, a scientific round table was held at the administrative building of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve with the participation of PhD in History, Associate Professor Ismayil Umudlu, Senior Researcher at the A.A. Bakikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology of ANAS, and PhD in History, Associate Professor Bahman Faziloglu. The round table discussed the socio-economic and cultural aspects of the historically established nomadic pastoral lifestyle in the region, particularly in the Jeyranchol area. The scholars also noted that since ancient times, Jeyranchol has been an important part of a vast network of migration routes. The economic system, daily life, and beliefs that developed in accordance with the seasonal lifestyle in this area have become an integral part of the nomadic way of life.
