A blood donation campaign was recently held in the city of Aghstafa for children suffering from blood disorders. The leadership and staff of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve also actively participated in the campaign. During the event organized at the Aghstafa District Central Hospital, medical teams from the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance, the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), and the National Center of Hematology and Transfusiology conducted preliminary health check-ups of the donors and then collected blood samples from them. After testing, the collected blood reserves will be used in the treatment of children suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia, and other blood diseases.
