The Karvan Valley kurgans are located in the area known as Karvan Valley within the Jeyranchol plain. The kurgan site is characterized by a flat terrain with low-growing steppe vegetation, gently sloping hills, and shallow ravines formed due to heavy rainfall and floodwaters.
Approximately 90% of the area is visible to the naked eye, allowing for the distant observation of archaeological monuments, primarily kurgans. The site exhibits a relief-based surface structure. The Karvan Valley kurgans are spaced approximately 10 to 40 meters apart, and archaeological excavations have been conducted in three different directions within the site.
