On December 10, 2013, by request of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, employees of ANAS, the candidate of art studies, Dr. ImashHajiyev and doctor of historical sciences, Professor ArifMamedov conducted excavations in the territory of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Keshikchidag”. The main studies were carried out along the strip of the Katardag plains. During the archaeological excavations, new burial mounds were discovered. Clay jugs, objects of everyday life, discovered during archaeological excavations, and material and cultural samples, making our historical past, are collected in a small museum of the administrative building of the reserve.
