Two-storey caravanserai
The caravanserai was built in the 19th century in Shusha. It is a hotel-type and two-storey building in the part of Shusha called Sheytan Bazar. In the second half of the 19th century (1888-1889) Mashadi Huseyn Mir Sayyaf oghlu bought the caravanserai of Haji Amiraslan Bey and demolished it and built it on the site. For this reason, the caravanserai was also known among the people as the caravanserai of Haji Sayyaf oghlu. After the death of Mashadi Hussein, his sons Kahraman and Mashadi Shukur began to run the caravanserai together. This caravanserai differs from other caravanserais in the city both in size and architectural style.
