An Educational Meeting Organized to Promote and Transmit the Rich Historical and Cultural Heritage of Western Azerbaijan to the Younger Generation.
Co-organized by the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve, which operates under the administration of the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture, and the Aghstafa Youth House, an educational meeting was held to promote the rich historical and cultural heritage of Western Azerbaijan and convey it to the younger generation.
The primary objective of the event was to inform young people about the tangible and intangible cultural heritage, historical monuments, ancient settlements, and religious-cultural sites established in the territory of Western Azerbaijan, as well as the significant role they play in the centuries-old history of the Azerbaijani people. Speaking at the meeting, Musa Mursaguliyev, Director of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve, provided comprehensive information on the historical and geographical landscape of Western Azerbaijan, the rich cultural heritage that existed in these areas, and the crucial importance of preserving and transmitting this legacy to future generations. Emphasizing that the research and promotion of cultural heritage are vital for the preservation of national memory, he underscored the necessity of active youth participation in this direction. Within the framework of the event, an exchange of views on the topic took place, and questions of interest to the participants were answered.
