At the ADA University Gazakh Center, an event titled “Damjili Cave: History, Archaeology, and Culture – Presentation of New Publications” was held, dedicated to the research conducted between 2016 and 2023 by an international expedition of Japanese and Azerbaijani archaeologists at the Damjili cave campsite located within the “Avey” State Historical and Cultural Reserve, as well as to the presentation of two scholarly works published based on the results of these studies.

At the ADA University Gazakh Center, an event titled “Damjili Cave: History, Archaeology, and Culture – Presentation of New Publications” was held, dedicated to the research conducted between 2016 and 2023 by an international expedition of Japanese and Azerbaijani archaeologists at the Damjili cave campsite located within the “Avey” State Historical-Cultural Reserve, as well as to the presentation of two scholarly works published based on the results of these studies. The event was organized by the “Avey” State Historical-Cultural Reserve with the support of the State Service for the Protection, Development, and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture, the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and the Gazakh District Executive Authority. The staff of the Keshikchidagh State Historical-Cultural Reserve also took part in the event, demonstrating their support for this significant scientific activity aimed at studying, preserving, and promoting the rich archaeological heritage of our country. It should be noted that employees of the Shamkir and Aghsu State Historical and Cultural Reserves, operating under the State Service for the Protection, Development, and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture, also participated in the event.
