Based on the Decree of Mr. President Ilham Aliyev, who is a worthy follower of the Great Leader, 2024 has been declared the “Year of Solidarity for the Green World” in Azerbaijan, and we can now talk about a number of important innovations in the energy field of our country. As a reliable and responsible member of the international community, the Republic of Azerbaijan contributes to the fight against the consequences of climate change.
On October 19, 2024, with the support of the State Service of Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Aghstafa District Executive Authority, the Education Sector of the Gazakh-Tovuz Regional Education Department for the Aghstafa district, and “Keshikchidagh” State Historical-Cultural Reserve in contrast to the traditional form, an intellectual competition was held with the participation of the students of Aghstafa regional educational institutions and their parents regarding the 2024 “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”. The main purpose of the competition is to strengthen the knowledge of the young generation in the direction of environmental health, restoration and increase of greenery, to introduce the monuments located in the reserve area of our region, and to organize the leisure time of young people effectively.
At the event held at the Hasansu village secondary school named after A.Mustafayev, the participants first got acquainted with the exhibition of material and cultural samples discovered in the territory of the reserve and printed products belonging to the reserve. The intellectual competition was started with the participation of the jury consisting of employees of the Aghstafa District Education Sector and “Keshikchidagh” State Historical-Cultural Reserve. The participants competed on 30 questions dedicated to the declaration of 2024 as the “Year of Solidarity for the Green World”, the work carried out in this field in the liberated territories, including the historical heritage of our region. The questions were grouped according to the degree of difficulty and the competition was organized in 3 stages. At the end of the intellectual competition, which consisted of 30 teams, the 1st place was won by the “Fuzuli” team representing the No. 1 secondary school of Dagh Kasaman village of Aghstafa district, the 2nd place was won the “Khojali” team represented by the Hasansu village secondary school named after A.Mustafayev, 3rd place was won the “Zengilan” team, represented by the Boyuk Kasik village secondary school named after Azer Yusifli. The winners were awarded with certificates, gift packages containing printed products belonging to the reserve and gifts were presented.
